MicaSense Altum-PT™

The MicaSense Altum-PT™ sets the standard for advanced remote sensing technology with its capability to capture data from up to six discrete spectral bands simultaneously. These outputs include RGB color, crop vigor, and a high-resolution panchromatic image. The Altum-PT™ ensures unmatched radiometric accuracy at 1.2 cm (0.47in) pan-sharpened ground resolution when flown at 60m (200ft), enabling a comprehensive range of remote sensing workflows. This powerful sensor can identify issues at the plant level, even in early growth stages, and is perfectly optimized for tasks requiring ultra-high resolution.

The Altum-PT™ takes thermal imaging to new heights with its integrated thermal model, featuring patented technologies that enable highly accurate thermal maps. With a repeatability better than 2 degrees across measurements, this sensor offers twice the resolution of the previous Altum model. Furthermore, the thermal imagery can reach ground resolutions as high as 17cm from a 60m flight altitude, capturing smaller objects with precision and providing better detail and image quality. With synchronized multispectral and thermal imagers, the Altum-PT™ produces pixel-aligned outputs across multiple bands and at incredibly high resolutions. It is designed to tackle the most challenging irrigation system, soil moisture, and inspection tasks, supporting rapid in-field workflows for immediate decision-making.
