Gamma Ray Spectrometer

The D230A Gamma Ray Spectrometer is a lightweight, high-performance solution designed for UAV-based gamma-ray detection. Engineered with two 1024-channel spectrometers, this payload offers exceptional sensitivity and accuracy, making it ideal for radiation monitoring and environmental surveys. Its advanced stabilization method utilizes natural background radiation, eliminating the need for additional radioactive sources.

The D230A supports real-time data acquisition, storing spectra for both detectors separately, with sampling rates adjustable from one second to one minute. Data is saved on an expandable SD card, providing ample storage for hours of monitoring.

Equipped with BGO or NaI/Tl detectors (both 2”x2”), the D230A offers flexibility for various mission requirements. Its lightweight design, housed in durable aluminum with multiple mounting points, makes it an ideal payload for UAV operations. The system is powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, providing up to 4 hours of operation on a single charge.
Ideal for use in environmental monitoring, mineral exploration, and nuclear safety applications, the D230A is a cutting-edge tool for precise airborne gamma-ray spectroscopy.
