How to Download Flight Logs

  1. Download and install Mission Planner on a Windows-based PC:

  1. Connect to the drone via the USB-C cable that is included in the bit box.
    • On the Switchblade Elite, the USB port is located opposite the battery connection port. 
    • On the Vector, the USB port is located on the corner of the battery plate. 
  1. Open Mission Planner and click on the drop-down menu for the COM port in the top right corner.
    • Select the COM port that says “Cube Mavlink” in the name. 
    • Set the baud rate to 115200 in the menu to the right. 
    • Press connect. It will take a few seconds as all the parameters from the drone are loaded.

  1. On the left side of the screen, there is a menu that has tabs for “Quick”, “Actions”, “Messages”, etc… Scroll to the right to find the tab that says “DataFlash Logs”.

  1. Click “Download DataFlash Log Via Mavlink”.

  1. Select the log(s) that you would like to download – the most recent log will be at the bottom. 
  2. Click “Download Selected Logs
  1. The downloaded logs will be saved in:
    C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Mission Planner\logs\TRICOPTER\1
