SwitchBlade-Elite 2.2 is now available for general use. This minor update includes a few material upgrades for more damage tolerance and improved wear life. It also includes provisions for additional accessories.

- Tail light substructure upgraded to increase ground handling damage tolerance
- Tail mechanism linkages upgraded to titanium to increase wear life
- Aircraft radio firmware updated for improved future feature set compatibility
- Payload Connection System (PCS) geometry updated to include safety wire loop and changed from polymer retaining plate to aluminum.
- Improved battery percent remaining algorithm to adapt for aging and/or cold packs.
- Provisional wiring run to nose of aircraft for First Person View (FPV) camera
- Additional damper balls add to system for wider frequency range of vibration dampening
- Tail mechanism servo horn upgraded to thicker material for more damage tolerance
- Payload 12V power supply changed faster bootup to accommodate Gremsy Pixy-WP
- Tuning adjustments to improve high-density altitude performance
- Firmware updated to 4.0.7 and forward
- Flight Deck 2.0 software on GCS
