- Memorizes the last charging current.
- Multiple protection functions: over-voltage, over-current, reverse polarity, and over-temperature protection.
Operating Procedures
- Power on: Connect to the power source and turn on the power switch. The two-color indicators will illuminate for 2 seconds, and the LCD display screen will show the start-up page for 2 seconds, and then it will enter into the standby page.
- Battery connection: Please connect your batteries according to the below picture. Make sure the power cables are pushed all the way in. Make sure to use the balancing cable and that each cell voltage is displayed on the charger screen.
- Setting the charging parameter
- Press the button to choose the appropriate current, 5A,10A,15A,20A,25A (Normally, we suggest charging with 1C charge current).
- Press the button to choose the mode you need, the default mode is charge mode.
- Hold for 2 seconds until you hear a “beep” sound. The two-color indicator will flash, indicating the charger is now in the charging process.
- Stop: If you want to stop the process, please press button.
Recommended Charge Rates
Solid State Batteries:
20A charge rate
Solid state batteries came standard with all units mid-2021 and are gray in color.
- The solid state batteries have a 22,000mAh capacity.
- The ideal charge rate is 1X the battery’s capacity = 22Ah (1C)
- Since the charger’s current is incremental by 5A, charge the battery at the closest setting available (20A)
- NEVER charge the battery at a higher current than 1X the capacity
LiPo Batteries: 15A charge rate
LiPo batteries came standard for all units prior to mid-2021 and are white in color.
- The LiPo batteries have a 16,000mAh capacity.
- The ideal charge rate is 1X the battery’s capacity = 16Ah (1C)
- Since the charger’s current is incremental by 5A, charge the battery at the closest setting available (15A)
- NEVER charge the battery at a higher current than 1X the capacity
Charging Process, Indicate The Battery Level Status
The two-color indicator will show in red color.
The LCD screen will switch the interface display every few seconds, as shown in the picture.
Switch a Solid State Battery and a LiPo Battery
Press the and simultaneously for 3 seconds
Storage Mode
If a Solid State Lithium battery is not used for a long time, it’s highly recommended to charge or discharge the battery to 3.70V with the Storage Mode to extend the battery’s life. When the battery voltage is higher than 3.70V per cell, the charger will discharge the battery. Conversely, when the battery voltage is lower than 3.70V per cell, the charger will charge the battery under the Storage Mode.
Press the “Mode” button, choose the Storage mode.
Long press the “Start/Stop” button, enter into the Storage mode.
Important Information Tips
When the charger appear below abnormal situations, the two-color indicators will flash in red, and LCD display screen will appear fault message, please refer to below specific message notification and reasons.
Note: the two-color indicators will flash in red, and LCD screen will appear fault message.
Fault message | Cause Analysis |
Connection Break | No battery connected: check if the battery main port correctly connected to the device. |
Reverse Polarity | Battery polarity reversed: check the battery main port, polarity connected. |
Cell Voltage High | Balance socket voltage abnormality: check if the battery balance port is correctly connected to the device; check the battery voltage is normal or not. |
INT. TEMP High | Temperature protection: check the cooling fan running is normal or not and check if the external environment temperature is too high. |
Over Load! | Current overload protection: the device will stop charging once the current over 30A. |
Important Warning and Safety Instruction
⚠ These warnings and safety instructions are particularly important. Please follow the instructions for maximum safety. Otherwise, the charger and the battery can be damaged or at worst it can catch fire.
- Never leave the charger unattended when it is connected to its power supply. If any malfunction is found, TERMINATE THE PROCESS AT ONCE and refer to the operation manual.
- Keep the charger away from dust, moisture, rain, heat, direct sunshine, and vibration.
