INTRODUCTION
A fault has been identified in the GoPro FPV power harness for the SwitchBlade-Elite Mk2.4 and Mk2.5 as well as the Vector Mk2.4 and Mk 2.5, posing a low-likelihood but potentially flight-critical threat.
DESCRIPTION
An exposed 5v connection in the GoPro FPV power harness may cause a short circuit, potentially impacting flight operations.
RESOLUTION
An updated GoPro FPV power harness with additional insulation will be provided free of charge to all SwitchBlade-Elite Mk2.4 and Mk2.5 customers as well as the Vector Mk2.4 and Mk2.5 customers. Moving forward, this updated power harness will be standard on all Switchblade-Elite and Vector aircraft.
CUSTOMER IMPACT
All SwitchBlade-Elite Mk2.4 and Mk2.5 as well as Vector Mk2.4 and Mk2.5 customers should discard the potentially affected power harness and refrain from using the GoPro FPV until the free replacement harness is installed. Customers who do not have the GoPro FPV camera installed will find the FPV power harness located in their BitBox.
