INTRODUCTION
Some users have reported a loose Pixy Quick Release, causing the gimbal to prematurely disconnect.
DESCRIPTION
Because some users have been using the Pixy Quick Release rather than the Payload Connection System to remove the gimbal from the drone, the repeated removal causes the ring to loosen with vehicle vibration and the gimbal can prematurely disconnect.
RESOLUTION
Moving forward, all Pixy gimbals will have tightened Pixy Quick Release turrets to prevent vibrations from loosening the gimbal connection.
CUSTOMER IMPACT
Customers will no longer be able to remove the gimbal using the Pixy Quick Release feature without a screwdriver.
